Peer Review Blog
Hello, I hope you're having a nice day.
So we did peer reviews today, which was pretty cool. The group we were reviewing had good stuff for not being finished with it.
Here are the pictures of the peer review sheet. We had to review the time, the story, the titles, the lighting, the sound, the time things happened, what we liked about it, and a suggestion. I graded accordingly because they weren't done with everything. Like I didn't put that they had no titles, I said I can't say. I liked the filming most. I liked how they handled the camera. There were two things that weren't so great about the film. There were parts were you could hear people talking in the backround, and there was one scene where you could see the person filming through the reflection of the window. But personally, I think the talking is a bigger issue (for lack of a better word) than the reflection of the guy int the window. It's a bigger issue because the talking is something that's easier to fix. You could just put music over the parts where there's talking but you would have to reshoot it to get the guy out of the reflection.
Another thing I noticed was that at one point there were people sitting on a bench and the person was supposed to zoom in on them. The only thing I have to say to that is the zooming wasn't very clean. It'd zoom, then stop, then zoom, then stop all in a matter of a couple seconds. The zooming was the only thing bad I noticed with the actual filming. I also liked the story. It's about someone going to a park with their kid and the kid gets snatched, It's a really cool concept that they pulled off pretty well. The sound and lighting is also pretty good. The sound is good for being filmed outside. The lighting is good for filming the night time scene.
So overall it was really nice to watch and if it were a full movie, I'd want to watch the rest.
